Aurora Aksnes, born June 15 1996 in Stavanger and professionally referred to as Aurora often stylized in uppercase in the form of AURORA is an Norwegian music producer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15, 2015 it received a raving review from both music bloggers and the press. Half the World Away, by the Oasis group for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy, by Nat King Cole are two of the artist's most notable covers. It was further recognized through a tweet from Katy Perry where Perry endorsed her track Runaway. Enjoy her day. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is of finding an attic piano and becoming fascinated with the sounds it could make. Parents May-Britt as well as Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to pursue music not as a profession or a hobby, but as a way to develop. Therefore, she created writing her own songs. She has cited renowned songwriters Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan in her influences, along with an inclination to Bjork's style. Her decision to begin performing her music in public when her mother suggested that they could help people not be famous with her music but instead help everyone else realize their importance and the ways they could impact the world. As a young girl She began playing the piano and at nine began writing her own songs. She didn't tell her family about her musical journey until she was fourteen. There was no way she could have imagined to be Aurora. Aurora claims she loves making music. For her, music is an ideal method of feeling whatever.
